A great win over Collingwood led by the almost unaminous BOG in Andrew Embly. Next week, Richmond at home. Sorry for the lateness again...getting on top of it now.

Not much movement on the leaderboard this week with 13th through 23rd staying exactly the same. However the top 12 was a different story with only Matera, McIntosh and Fletcher receiving no votes.
Gardiner retakes the lead after Fletcher upended him last week. Fletch managed to get no votes whereas Gardiner continues his outstanding form to garner 114 votes for the round and again move well clear on top of the leaderboard. Fletcher still sits second and has a fair gap on the third placed Embley.
Embley is this weeks big mover after his BOG performance against Collingwood. Embers has moved up from 8th to 3rd and now looks certain for a top 10 finish this season, whether his form can continue or not will tell the tale of perhaps a top 5 or 3 finish. Certainly a pleasant surprise for Eagles fans.
The other big mover was Wirrpunda. He has only gained 1 spot from 6th to 5th but the gap in votes has come down significantly. He is now just 12 votes out of 3rd place which incidentally is the place he finished in last years award.
The sleeping giant has stirred...but I dont think he has fully awaken yet. He managed to pick up 54 votes for the game against Collingwood and it is his first votes since he picked up 48 back in round 5. He still sits 9th which he has done pretty much all year but perhaps he is starting to wake up, the only question that remains for him now is ...... is it all too late?
