Imagine if we get to the GF this year we need to prepare for the fact that whoever we play will be talked up and up, will be the mostest bestest whatever, and if we look like winning we will be given credit around about 2 minutes from the siren. That's the script.

Yeah it like the commenters say that the GF will be the most brutal and entertaining and then we win by 50+ points.

That Richo and BT are an utter disgrace, while claiming to be unbiased in commentary revelled just how determinedly biased they were, doing their level best to site Geelong players for match committee reviews.

While that was happening in their little two-way conversations dear Richo was arguing for the innocence of Zac Dawson. Couldn't believe that!!!

Our club needs to at least lodge a complaint against the setting up by the media of our players at the hands of these partial judges.
That crap needs to be outlawed, "the preempting of incidents being worthy of suspension or not".

And also Cameron Ling needs to be careful he's not sucked in, I know he's ambitious (like Harley) but, Lingy, don't be so willing to get on board the bias crap that's flying around,"you're not their to rubber stamp the anti Geelong comments by agreeing to everything but with the Zac Dawson type incidents say nothing"

Can't believe BTs comments about Selwood after the game. Basically can't believe Crowley annoyed him, Selwood normally annoys other players. I'm not a violent man, but BT needs to be dragged behind a car from Geelong to Sydney.

Cant believe they said nothing in the Dawson hit on Stokesy. Surely will be looked at it was a harder hit than what got Jonathan Brown suspended a few weeks ago. Thought the commentary from BT was better than his normal low standard to be honest. Couple of glaring errors though still, that brainless comment about Selwood and it took him about half the 1st quarter to work out who No 41 for Geelong was.

Plus he did his normal d*ckhead style, flogging a dead horse, by going on and on about the Fire Brigade turning up. Would he rather they not turn up if an alarm went off?

AFL please have a word to this tool. He ruins the game and is CLEARLY biased with his referrals to the MRP.

I'm only interested in our guys as a group, the game itself is frustrating and annoying due to the said reasons above.
As pure sporting contests go, the individual sports are by far and away superior no doubt.
But the game even as a game is loosing credibility among it's grass roots, maybe it's life's getting to serious these days with the high cost of living.

Interesting I made this same comment up a few posts in June last year. Got worse since then.

I'm not sure why the AFL is not taking my suggestions seriously.

I disagree. The shot at goal to win the game was a shining example.

"It's on line.... It's on line... It's slightly off line. Geelong win!"

Imagine being a Freo fan if that had gone through. I look back on the Tom Hawkins after the siren goal, and I'm sure Brisbane fans do the same for the miracle on grass, and the COMMENTARY alone is enough to send shivers down my spine.

BT called that moment the same way he'd call a shot at goal in the first ten minutes.
