I think Priddis is a bit stiff to not even have been named in the 'Missing' section.

Hodge has only played half the season and you'd say he hasn't been particularly good in 5 of those (Wells to HF).
Vince been all over the place.
Burgoyne's a ******* halfback.
Lewis was decidedly average until about round 10.
Thompson is arguably lesser in the same role as Priddis but brought up by Adelaide's overall form.

And those are the guys on the field. He's clearly been better than the midfield types on the bench (Bartel, McVeigh and Montagna) as well as Griffen and Mundy in the 'Missing' section.

Im guessing the selection process was undertaken while waiting for a tram and thinking about what players are regularly mentioned in the Herald Sun

Considering they can't even abide by their own nomenclature with Lewis, Grundy, Shaw, Mumford etc (all 30) making the 'Over 30s' team, the whole thing is a joke.

I haven't watched Talia closely TBH.

Is he more than just a great stopper? What is his point of difference from Gov/Rance?
Good question. I don't think he's better than Rance, but is probably slightly better than Gov one-on-one who is obviously the best intercept mark in the game.

I find it quite similar to the 20 in 2020...wtf is with that article...it just screams ok how do we make out that bontempelli should get a brownlow at some point. I can't deny that he won't, I just couldn't understand the point of it...

At least no one here should complain about Barrett's sliding door this week. It isnt really a 'sliding door' comment at all - it commends Nic Nat for being all class

They've done it again. 2011 jumper, shopped the HJ's logo out, put the Bankwest one in. They've gone 1 better this week though, removing the white outlines from the wings, but leaving it on the eagle head:drunk: Surely they could've found 1 picture of Darling from the last 5 seasons to use??

Sliding Doors (Barrett Style):

If: The Flat Trackers have 16 wins and win the premiership from 6th....

Then: The track was too flat! The AFL must look at the advantage they have playing 11 home games and 1 final in Perth.

A massive eat shit to the Fox footy commenter team. Last night you proved what an insipid ordinary bunch of so called football experts you are, your before the game analyst was horrendous just dribbling on about how Adelaide will win and win easily. Not bothering to think about how the Eagles much up really well with the Crows, the fact that they have only lost once since the bye, beaten 2 top sides in the last 2 weeks. Was just rubbish to listen to and makes me wonder why I both subscribing to this rubbish on Foxtel. Was a honour to watch all of you grovel in your own dribble trying to make an excuse as to why the crows were belted when the facts where laid in front of you before during and after the game, the Eagles are a lot better then any of you bell ends give them credit for. You clowns get paid a lot of money to do your research and provide expertise on football maybe it's time you started. Special shout out to Wayne Carey on channel 7 commentary when he said that "Sheed was one of our midfielders who struggled early in the year and has come right when it matters" maybe Wayne you should check his facts as well

Was the attitude any different on here though. I don't think many expected us to win that one including fans

My gut feel was that we would win, that looking at the sides with both teams outs, and how we matched up in the midfield our forward line and defensive line looked better I thought this game was ripe for the picking. I just think they were very lazy in there analysing.

Only after the game did they mention the soft kills that Adelaide have had over the last months. And the tough teams we have rolled ect ect. I thought this could have been brought up and mentioned before the game instead of there Nic Nat out West coast my as well not have bothered turning up approach which was just lazy
