I just remembered perhaps the dumbest thing I've heard this week - Robbo on 360 defending the Crows by saying "ah you know, they looked tired - they've had to travel a lot lately"
Great post...as an idiot, Robbo is particularly prone to making ridiculous statements as a result of cognitive dissonance. Similar to that Adelaide fan on Facebook who asserted that Adelaide tanked so they'd have an easier run during finals

Erroneous statements made in a desperate attempt to cling to the notion that Adelaide are a powerful premiership chance this year.

I thought they were too. But when presented with evidence to the contrary (ie. another team completely shutting down their gameplan), I've had to readjust my original beliefs. Adelaide looked off because we made them look that way.

Any team that gets beaten in the midfield looks slow and tired.

Alright. Gotta vent some frustration here along the same lines as Robbo on 360.

http://www.sportsfan.com.au/crows-c...ticle_crowschokedagainsteagleskennelly_010916

Every week when I go AFL.com I look down the bottom right corner at the sportsfan articles and I see Taghd Kennelly rip into West Coast. Every week he completely underrates us as a team and talks about all our deficiencies while pumping the tires of whatever opposition. Even now despite beating GWS, Hawthorn, and Adelaide he basically thinks we've gotten lucky and everyone else got nervous, tired, PMS, whatever...

This guy is nothing more than a no-nothing offended Sydney player who's sad they didn't go back to back in 06'...

*End Rant*

Was driving with the radio on and Rick Ardon was doing a regular promo chat thing about tonight's news on channel 7 .Anyway the all Australian team selection came up and Rick Ardon said Priddis has got to be right up there again and the other guy gave a " yeah, yeah, guphumph another great season Matty Priddis should make the team.".So there's two People who agree with me in regards that issue and who are both definitely not biased or incompetent.

Both about as incompetent as anything the east coast puts out considering pridda didnt make the squad of 40.

Ok - im your new best friend.

Cancel fox - buy a free to air satellite set top box - vast type

Go to mysattv.com.au, register your home address as in wa. Register your set top box as travelling in wa. Plug it into the foxtel point/s

Voila - wa free to air tv for a one of cost of around $300.

The sattelite cant tell where you are - every now and then you may gave to rehit it if you havnt watched for a few months.

Just do that on mysattv.com.au

They may even start broadcasting in hd one day.

Any questions feel free to pm me - ive got this sorted for a few mates.

Fu(|< rupert ;)
Great idea!
Too bad my coaxial/foxtel line is tied up with cable broadband. I'd go back to copper ADSL2 but I just can't do it to myself.
3-5Mbps was ****in torture. I couldn't even watch our games on their crappy app due to buffering.

R19 - Ess, AO
R20 - Bris, AO
R21 - Freo, DS
R22 - Port, AO
R23 - WCE, AO

Yep, must be exhausted
No, no. It was all the those top 8 teams that did it.

Just watched the Top 100 moments of 2016 on fox footy today. Somehow they only managed to fit 3 eagles moments of the total 100, 2 being Gaff being knocked out by Jonas and Nic nat doing his ACL. The other was obviously Nic's goal against GWS. No surprise Cyril, Daniher, Betts and Dangerfield combined for probably 20+ of them...

Almost unbelievable that the reigning dual coleman medalist couldn't cop a single moment out of his 80 goals this season :drunk:

Woohoo - Sinkers is back!!
Review by Rohan Connolly in today's Age of the Eagles - the photo of a group of 8? Eagles singing the team song showed Sinclair smack bang in the middle.
When did that happen? I didn't think the trade period was until post-season!

(RC noted the home ground advantage - of course someone else might interpret that as the Bullies not being good on the road. He also noted that the 'roar effect' of the home crowd gave us a great free kick advantage - and then noted the Dockers had a negative free kick difference at home - so that means they don't 'roar' or his theory is BS. Still the Age is a Vic paper - although supposedly a good one - so I can't expect any more accuracy than I'd expect from the West regarding the other 16 non-WA teams I suppose.)

The guy is an idiot. You'd think he may work out the correlation between flogging sides and therefore getting more free kicks. Also, think his numbers wrong for us and how many finals we had played at home? He said we had played 12 but think it's more than that?

I just did a count and we have played 12 at Subiaco and 2 at the WACA, which for some reason he has ignored. We won both, so our home finals record is actually 11-3 since 91.
