Sorry, ok Crows about breaking the Crow brotherhood - but you are pretty biased.![]()
I would contend that it depends on what you mean by biased.
If it means only posting positives about your club, and debating neagtives, then guilty as charged!
If however it is meant to imply unrealistic or unable to have perspective - then I dispute that. For example - this preseason I tipped Crows to improve perhaps by one or two ladder places - that is to come sixth or seventh. As it turns out even I underestimated them this year.
So, if insisting on reasonable assesment for your team, and posting positives about them, is biased, then as I say ... GUILTY!
But if it means posting totally unrealistic predictions for your side, and at the same time bagging other sides (al la sabre this year with Freo having the league's best young guns apparently whereas Crows had the worst forward line in the comp) ... then most decidedly I'm not at all guilty of any of that sort of behaviour. If that sort of stuff - overating your own, under-rating opposition - is bias, (as is my definition of bias) - then I claim not guilty at all your honour!
PS- do you see me even posting on the thread "Are Crows favourites for next year?" - no. IMO they simply aren't. Stupid suggestion IMO.
So anyway - in what way do I end up more biased (apparently) than whoever thought up that notion? Hmmmmm?
