I miss some of the near free money promo's they had on the Big Bash in previous years, but the standard seems poor this year and it's making it hard for the promo's to hit. Gayle chased out of town, no Aussie test players, Lynn injured early, some teams don't look likely to hit a 6. Seems alot of the batters are lacking inventiveness - virtually haven't seen a reverse sweep, ramp or even stock standard slog sweep.
With Lynn back - Heat vs Strikers looks the best bet for a bit of a 6 fest tomorrow.
I have been burnt a couple of times this season, but still up thanks to the fact that the Scorchers are awesome, such a good list they will win it again this year imo.
Anyway, tonight I'm backing the Heat @ $2.10 (better than their results suggest)
Lynn was robbed last match when he was given out without even hitting the ball (bat hit the ground as the ball beat the outside edge) and in his first game he was solid with a cameo of about 25 with a couple of 6's off about 18 deliveries. The Heat were pantsed by one of the best bowling attacks in the BBL but Stars don't have anywhere near the quality of bowling that the Strikers do.
Pierson, Burns, Cutting and Ross have all had good games, if Lynn and McCullum finally come to the party I think they can beat the Stars. The Stars also have good batsmen but I'm taking the Heat batsmen over them, as I don't think either bowling attack is particularly strong.

Apparently 7 of the last 8 favourites have been rolled. Or so I've been told
I hope you didn't lay much, the Scorchers are looking the best team comfortably and they don't even have their best team out there.
Scorchers have started unbelievably well but they'll lose two of their three best bowlers in Richardson & Tye for the ODIs, they do get Bancroft and S Marsh back after the test but Behrendorff and Coulter Nile are out for the season... could bring Paris back in if he's recovered from his injury?
