Captaincy to a Scorcher surely..

But if he scores at least 1 he goes to +1.
3 possible ways this could work.Pretty sure super over points don't count.
Someone explain how a no ball counts as a ball faced, while a wide doesn't and nor do any balls faced in a super over??
Can't always score off a no ball either. Important to note that a no-ball over rides a wide where a ball is both. Can't score off a wide. You are and always will be wrong on that one. As for the super over, I'd have no issue with that counting, but it doesn't.

Nup, don't think there was any way in hell the ball in question could have been scored off. It was pitched at his upper stomach area straight at his gloves, on the full. It would have been hard enough to get bat to ball let alone score off it. A no ball it called such because it is not a fair delivery. If it's not a fair delivery, the batsmen should not be penalised.Yes, but unless you can think of an objective way to decide when a no-ball could have been scored off or not, it should count as a ball faced. The case of a no-ball being unable to be scored off is rare, and it's hardly worth getting your knickers-in-a-knot over. The Christian to Head ball that started this could have been scored off, and didn't cost you any points. It'll all be okay.

You're correct that in the scheme of things it makes little difference, but that doesn't make it right.
). Fair enough sometimes the batsmen takes evasive action. Should the ones that got hit for six not count as a ball?So which Scorcher are people putting the C on? I'm considering Dorff, Klinger and Carbs, and trying hard to ignore Hogg. For some reason I'm feeling very drawn to Carbs, but hopefully a good sleep will show me the error of my ways. Also considering playing Peirson over Whiteman, but will probably play it safe.
I was very close to bringing Kilnger in and handing him the C. Went with Hales instead for structural reasons. So which Scorcher are people putting the C on? Who knows?? I cannot find any information anywhere on when he is and isn't available. All we know is that England play on Jan 19th.I thought Hales is unavailable after this round?
