In news that is sure to excite Gumbies fans and players alike in the build up to Monday's Sweet FA grand final the Geelong Gumbies can tonight confirm that young gun BoshtrichBurger who joined the side midway through the season from the Wonders has put pen to paper on a new one year deal which will see him stay at the Gumbies for season 17.
Peterss was present at tonights press conference and had this to say.
"Big Bosh has been simply sensational since making the move mid season, He has been immense on the field and is a quality bloke off the field."
"People may ask why we only signed him for a further season and not more well the facts are we actually offered him a three year deal but he only wanted a one year deal as he believes he plays his best football when he has a contract to play for rather then the possibility of easing off a bit with the security of a contract under your belt"
"We see Bosh as a key player for our future and one we can certainly being considered for a leadership role in season's to come"
"Bosh won a SFA premiership medallion last season win which was his debut season in the SFA so to have locked in an already premiership player onto our books for next season is fantastic and heres hoping that come Monday night Bosh can add a second premiership medal to his already impressive SFA resume and that we can also start locking in some "premiership" players for season 17 within the next few weeks"
