If I was David I would've shaved only if Tim shaved his locks. Don't see how it will effect the game but still better than nothing.

Its not the worst idea imo

First of all, the beard looks horrible and doesnt make him very likable

It could just be a subtle way of reinventing himself and creating a different image for the housemates and audience, considering hes hated by both nearly

Hearing Tim explain it was good

How longs Tim in the house for?

If he's able to make David shave his beard off on the first day he's in the house, imagine what else he can do. And the fact that he has made friends with Dave on the inside will help him with his votes. Australia loved Tim so they will now back David knowing that Tim wants him to take out the "Cool kids"

Quality TV when Tim's on. He's one smart man

I don't know, but i think it'll go one of two ways.

1. Pairs will have to vote in pairs, can probably nominate single people but the votes will go to a pair. So if Priya gets nom'd, Katie will automatically be up for eviction too. From there I reckon the public will still only vote for one. If your partner goes, you're just on your own. Or...
2. The premise is dropped within 2 weeks, just like every other World First Game Changer™!!!
So i was out by a couple of days, but still claiming it.

Yes, question is .... was it supposed to be just a settling in thing to generate early relationships or tension, or are they ending it quickly because it's a shit concept?

I'd suggest the latter since they had to do something to keep the more popular Jake and Sandra in the house, and know that Priya is going up as soon as there is no immunity and they want Katie to last longer.

Who do we thinks going tonight?

I have a feeling Sandra/Dave will be ok, leaving Trav/Cat, Gemma/Jake and Skye/Lisa left.

If it's Gemma/Jake, Gemma is gone

Will be very interesting if it comes down to Trav/Cat vs Skye/Lisa. Having the housemates pick who leaves out of these four would be tough for the HM to do but will be an awesome watch. Would love to see Lisa out of the house

Sandra and Dave for me, with Dave heading out. I don't really think Sandra is all that popular, not to the extent of Jake anyway. However Jake/Gemma might get the votes purely for Gemma. I'm banking on Sandra and Dave though.

It's a vote to save isn't it? So how many girls will vote to save Jake saving Gemma in the process, how many watchers felt Dave was being bullied and spent their money to save him. Have Cat or Trav had enough impact for people to spend money to save them just yet? I figure Skye will get save votes.

Dave really needed a couple of days for people to see him beardless.

Interested to read how many of these guys know each other.

Sam's girlfriend is best friends with Boog. He is friends with Ryan (Estelle's house squeeze).
Ryan is best mates with Matt from last year.
Lisa knows Tully and is a friend of a Channel 9 reporter.
Skye apparently stalked Layla and her family in a mean way.
Jake and Tim we know about.

Yeah it's vote to save which is why I think Dave and Sandra might be safe. From what I can see people like Dave due to him being the misfit and causing a bit of controversy. I know for a fact Travis isn't liked by many people other then lads his age but people his age that watch the show don't normally vote, it's teenagers and parents who vote and I don't think they would have much time of day for someone like Trav

This was posted by Tim Dormer in a response to someones question to him on the BBB forums, about whether he went in scripted.

Obviously I was never going to have free reign of the house and the precious crop of new housemates. Surely you can also understand that out of the 24hours I was in the house you only saw the cutdown "storylined" version of my interactions which mostly only included the information about my admin purposes for being in the house. I knew from the get go it wasn't going to be "the tim show" this time around, and the focus would always be on the new dumb bitchy class of wannabes. I knew you were only ever going to be shown a tame and controlled version of events where the focus was on the new stars.

I contemplated saying no to the whole stunt. The way I chose to handle the situation was the same way I played the game last year. Tim always wins. It's all a circus and I'm the ringleader. Only this time I'm not playing the game of big brother. I'm playing the media game, my career. I knew full well going back in would be a disaster for the series in the eyes of the big brother purists. I was never going back in there to try and save the sinking ship for them, I was going back in there to get a bunch of talk on social media and a spike in the ratings from the fast food eating viewers from western Sydney that don't quite understand why this season isn't as good as "Tim's" was. These people still give a shit about me, and these are the people that tv execs care about...sorry to tell you they don't give a shit about what you guys on here think they have done to your precious tv show.

I went along with their instructions on the whole stunt, they thought I was playing their game, when by now they should have realised I only ever play my own. They have inadvertently done the one thing they were trying to avoid, remind people how bad this all has become. I should have brought a hammer for the nails they gave me to drive into that coffin. I'm in nobody's back pocket. I'm sitting back watching the game unfold...only this time it's outside the house.

Having said all that, I was surprised to discover that these housemates have an interesting dynamic, it's just not coming through the dribble of overproduced 'stunt' tv we are seeing. There could still be hope that now with the pairs thing over we might start to see some natural relationships develop on their own accord, and the storylines will follow naturally too. There's a much bigger game being played here guys. Trust me, Alex isn't the enemy.
