Only if they can bowl us out first. Haven't seen the pitch and I know Voges said he wanted to win outright, but if it's a road I hope we bat as long as humanly possible like has been done to us in so many finals where the higher placed team won in the event of a draw.

But you can say that about any run chase, right? The team batting second knows what they have to make.

Yes but the team batting second doesn't usually get then win just for the Shield equivalent of the Bash Boost Point if there's a draw.

Number of wickets in first hundred overs is a factor in both teams 1st innings ....

At the moment both teams have zero points ..

if WA was 5/200 after 100 overs , Vic would have 0 5 point WA zero points .
If WA is 2 / 340 , WA has 1.4 points , Vic 0.2 points after WA first innings .
