MotM going to players from winning teams 100% of the time is a joke.

There was a Scorchers game a couple years ago where MOTM was some Scorcher who made 45 or so. Meanwhile in a losing effort Dan Christian made 75, took 2 or 3fer at an econ under 5 and a couple catches.

Thats not to say that in that specific case that the 203 did or didn't shade the 140.

Aaron Hardie 45 off 24, no contribution in field. A good innings to be sure but alternatively

Dan Christian two wickets including an opener and the number 4. 4 overs 2/14 at 3.5 econ. Two catches. Then 73 in the chase.

I'd reckon the Scorchers would need to win their last two (Strikers and Renegades) to remain top; Sixers have the Hurricanes and Thunder, and I'd pencil them in as wins based on recent form.

Speaking of, if you ignore internationals, the Sixers would have to be at full strength at the moment and can roll out their first choice XI to each game. Even then you're probably only swapping in Vince for Patterson.

Nah, I reckon both teams will drop one game and win one game. Hurricanes and Thunder are both capable of pulling off an upset if they click. They have the talent but are inconsistent.

The same with Strikers and Renegades. If Chris Lynn goes nuts, he can take it away from you.

Jacinda not taking the black caps loss very well it seems
One of the all time great con artists. Promised a bunch of shit she could never deliver, trashes the country and then bails well before her party gets absolutely obliterated in an election. Watch her pop up on the international speaking circuit now, reputation intact and acting like the best political leader in modern history.

I reckon us versus the Strikers away and Hobart against the Sixers at home could go either way TBH.

Sixers will lose Smith for the finals and we will lose Agar and Morris.
Hopefully Jhye for Morris and Hatz for Agar.

TBF, I don't think Agar will be ahuge loss and we can cover.
Smith for Sydney is a big out as Philippe has been out of form at the top.

Underrated: They'll lose Lyon and Murphy also which means a change in their bowling strategy. They've got Hughes, the Edwards bros, Bird and the young Afghan Naveed (plus local replacements) to choose from when the Aussie test squad leaves.

On our side of things we lose Agar and Morris, which should be covered by a recovered Jhye, Payne, Hatz, Hardie bowling, Turner bowling, ****it pick another batsman.

Gill hitting 203 may still have got it - 203 in an ODI is epic good

Crazy to think that used to be considered the white whale for ODI's, now Gil is the 10th player to do so.

Rohit Sharma's done it 3 times.

A good trivia question to trip people up, who was the first person to score 200 in a ODI?
Belinda Clark

Indian supporters in particular get triggered by that one as they all think it was Sachin

Do India tour players miss all BBL finals or just the second week? I thought it was the latter but it's hard to find a definitive answer anywhere.
The finals only go for 8 days and finish on the 4th Feb.

I reckon the whole lot as the first test starts on the 9th Feb.

Taking Morris to India is *ing stupid. Yes it’s good to be around the test swuad but lets be honest he is down the line of pace bowlers and it’s probably better off him getting him to play shield with the Ashes around the corner
Maybe it's rookie tour experience, much like taking Murphy. The guys will be nets bowlers and probably won't play a test, but when they're pushing for the XI they'll have the experience and know what's expected on a tour.

I must of missed her trashing the country, think you've over egged things there. She had to deal with a lot of shit, mosque massacre, pandemic, feral anti vaxxers threatening to kill her as well as giving birth to a child.
She tried to change how politics works, did she succeed? probably not but i give her credit for trying.
I doubt her party will be obliterated either, the election when she formed govt she won 36% of the vote and the nationals won 46%, There's only 3-5 points difference now. Whoever wins will likely have to form a coalition due to NZs MMP electoral system.
