TBH with modern bats and their piss ant sized grounds any records made there to me aren't worth a pinch of shit.

Also the fact that the BCC is going to get over 38% of all ICC revenue on top of the revenue they already get from the IPL is an absolute and complete farce. If the poms go as far as doctoring boundary lengths and pitches this summer then I will be 100% done with cricket.

Somehow it's become even more biased, corrupt and about revenue than even the AFL dream of.

It’s really impressive that they’ve been able to keep all of the good older (late 20s and 30s) players and also not have younger players moving interstate for more opportunities. You would think that someone like D’Arcy Short might have been looking to move, given that he wasn’t selected for the Shield final or the one day final. Same with the likes of Cooper Connolly, Liam Haskett and Sam Fanning, who would have a lot easier time breaking into regular matches playing state-level cricket if they moved interstate.

I think Green will have a bit more loyalty than Archer. A few years ago Archer was playing for the Windies but I reckon the biggest reason that he might sign this is that his body is probe to breaking down a lot so he might as well try and earn as much money out of cricket as he can
