There's no way any of the quicks will miss a day night test against the WI.That was a nasty blow for Ussie. That S Joseph looks good.
While he'll take the plaudits for the WI, I also really liked the look of McKenzie and Greaves as well.
Surely Morris debuts in Brisbane, we'd be silly not to with an ageing attack and weak opposition.
Shouldn't be their decision. There's no way any of the quicks will miss a day night test against the WI.
They will be licking their lips.
Batters never really looked in and it was hard to play shots on, offering a bit of seam to the bowlers the whole (albeit short) game. But it wasn't a nightmare wicket to bat on. I just think batters now days struggle to play long innings with poor test techniques and poor test mentality. If the wicket has anything in it, many fail. That said, the WI team had very little experience and their experienced openers did nothing. In fairness to WI, we didn't bat much time either. Head makes our first innings look better than it was shaping up to be.
I'm not hearing any criticism of the pitch itself but it has offered plenty to the bowlers as far as I can tell. I haven't watched any of it live but was it a bit too spicy or just genuinely good bowling versus average batting performances?

Yeah chance to get there stats up TuggsThere's no way any of the quicks will miss a day night test against the WI.

Morris coming in wouldn't be to do with injuries or fatigue though. We’ve made one (forced) change to the test XI all summer replacing the retired Warner with Green
Bowlers haven’t been kept out in the field for long stretches and all look fit still.
Can’t see any changes other than maybe Renshaw for Khawaja if he’s been concussed or otherwise injured

Is it in the best interests of Australian cricket that Morris or, say, Starc plays in Brisbane?
We're in a fairly unique position where the Test bowling attack is absolutely elite but also ageing. If we have the rare chance to blood a new player we need to take it.
Doubt it, and I'm not sure Bison and Green being available would be good for us considering Adelaide would have

Carey and Head for the record
You are not resting any of the big 4 bowlers because of fatigue.I can't see George Bailey being strong enough to rest any of the bowlers. The team is picking itself at the minute.
Nek minit Head in for Adelaide but Marsh decides to stay with the teamHead in for Strikers would be huge.
I think whoever wins tomorrow night will make it through to the final.Stupid Sexy Sixers
Playing there MondaySilver lining foe the Heat is that losing here garantees they wont have to play on this
