Unbelievable. Smith just confessed that he'd been told not to bowl Green in order to manage his workloads with the BDT coming up. I understand there's the bigger picture of the series, and Green's career, but there's a Test to be won FFS. Glad that Smith bowled him anyway but should never have held him back in the first place.

Unbelievable. Smith just confessed that he'd been told not to bowl Green in order to manage his workloads with the BDT coming up. I understand there's the bigger picture of the series, and Green's career, but there's a Test to be won FFS. Glad that Smith bowled him anyway but should never have held him back in the first place.

We pissed it in with 2 hours remaining despite having a poor day. Green's a 22 year old kid with a history of injury, makes sense to rest him when he's bowled a decent amount this series.
