Still not convinced, which I know is crazy. Maybe it's just that I want Richo playing ;)
Yeah I see a lot of that parochialism around here. Boland is the form Australian bowler at the moment. I like Richo but he's not coming in for Boland.
Same with Khawaja, he is the most in form batsman in Australia and has been for the past 2 months with the possible exception of Head. The selectors will undo all of their good work if they leave him out of Hobart. I think Head in for Harris is almost a certainty, especially after Harris' fielding blunder.

Of course fools will be made of us all when one of the team come down with the Rona and the decision makes itself.

I'd drop/rest Starc for the last test, he looked like he was struggling on day 5 of the test and with the series decided it would be a good chance to freshen him up for the limited overs games.

Bring in Richardson to replace him

Problem solvered

I agree, but I suspect that if Starc is available they will allow him to play because its a pink ball test.

Starc is a pink ball specialist and if he is fit to play he should play. Bit of a travesty resting a bloke who is the best pink ball bowler in a day/night test. Rest and/or limit him in the ODI’s against New Zealand and tge T20’s against SL

We aren't suggesting resting him for the sake of managing his workload though, we're saying rest him because he looks buggered and doesn't bowl well when tired.

Kerry O’Keefe came up with a stat yesterday that about 90 per cent of Starc’s test wickets have come with balls over 140kph. He was pretty clearly tiring in the England second innings and wasn’t hitting 140. And it’s pretty telling that his only wicket for the match came 9 overs into England’s first innings.

What's the point of running him into the ground when the series is already decided?

He was struggling yesterday and clearly wincing at times after a few deliveries, nothing to be gained by over working him

Would've rather we bowled more of Green towards the end of that match over Starc - think Green only bowled 1 over after Tea - thought he looked more dangerous than a couple of others at times.

Green only gets 4-5 over spells a couple times per day. It's clearly a pre-conceived management plan.

Looks super dangerous in those spells.

Boland in doubt with rib damage he suffered in that fall.
It's lucky we have an "arsenal" of fast bowlers.

Yes, I heard too much cricket commentary on my break.

All I know of Bonanza is what I could pick up before I could convince my father to change to channel to something we'd both enjoy. Did they ever explain what happened to the mothers?
