Shaun Marsh is cooked unfortunately as nice as it is to watch him bat at his peak. Liability in the field, can't bowl, doesn't have the explosive power of any number of top order batters these days. Still doing nice things for WA in longer formats which is great, but I wouldn't want him anywhere near the Scorchers.

Amazing how the Renegades seem to always end up with a heap of one dimensional players in their sides past their best. Hogg, Hodge, SMarsh, Cam White, any number of their medium English bowlers who can't top 115kph.

I understand the entertainment factor of BBL and T20 - but having little idea about BBL at all apart from the vague awareness we have 8 teams and the Scorchers are relatively successful, reading that sentence on espncricinfo has left me all confused and wondering why cricket has come to this.
