So Puc knocked himself out with a Volleyball. Any form of sport seems like a high risk activity for the poor bloke- obviously has some physiological condition that means he will get a concussion from the slightest knock.
What a great shame.
Only bloke I've ever seen who could get concussion from a Volleyball was the great Scott Stirling, and that was a cumulative effect after his soccer heroics.

Is there anyone in the entire world that could possibly have concussed themselves in as many different ways as Pucovski?

Averaging 55 with a SR over 200 in the PSL.

I always knew he was going to be a star, back when I was watching him for the Scorchers while saying he was useless.
I was so annoyed that they kept giving him games. He would bat at like 6 or 7, come in during the late innings (or earlier if the top order collapsed) and score about 11 off 10 balls when fast runs were required. He was also allegedly an all-rounder but never bowled, so he was just a batsman who would bat lower in the order than the wicketkeeper and some of the all-rounders. Just seemed like an utterly useless player.

The IPL auction really seems incredibly volatile, like with Jhye Richardson and Riley Meredith making millions last year and then Richardson not even nominating for it this year (and Meredith going for peanuts). It does seem ridiculous that Tim David goes for a higher price than guys like Cummins, Hazlewood, and Marsh, and someone like Adam Zampa goes unsold. David's game is pretty much come in and bash away so his results could be really volatile. Could see him being another BBL breakout turned IPL bust.

I can’t believe he’s being hyped so much. He’ll flop in the IPL I reckon against better bowlers. I find it hard to reconcile with the Tim David who was so terrible for the Scorchers

Almost half a million more than David Warner who is one of the IPL’s best ever players, despite having a falling out with his club last year.

Personally don't think he deserves the pay packet but I can understand why teams are paying him money. Generally the best batsmen in t20 cricket tend to be openers and middle order batsmen. Teams (including Australia) are always looking out for blokes that can play a finishing role at the end and David's been one of the most inform of late.

I hated him at the Scorchers and he stank but you gotta remember that he was only 23 when he finished up the scorchers. He's now naturally come and I guess fulfilling the talent/potential the scorchers expect.

I'd love to see Scorchers give him another state contract next year for the ODD comp with a bunch of our players over 30 and a heap of talent being in Australian contention

Agar listed to open the batting despite having never done it for the Scorchies. Meanwhile Finch, McDermott, Inglis, Maxwell, Stoinis and Wade all opened in the BBL this season. Bring back Langer I say.

Not sure why they play SL in a 5 game series. This SL t20 side is lower ranked than Afghanstan and Bangladesh. Honestly better off even playing 3 games v SL and 2 against Aus A

Last thing Aus should be doing is playing less games v minnows

Sri Lanka apparently looking into Langer. Like I said, perfect guy for them. Mickey Arthur already has had an impact there and Langers hard nosed approach is whats needed there. There’s a few talented youngsters in the team that could flourish under his style

Matt Henry is a decent bowler but jeez, he shouldn't be taking 7/23 in a test match. South Africa's batting is rubbish.
