Cartwright just not playing his normal game, balls there to be hit and he just pokes at it. Pitch doesn’t seem to be doing much, few have kept low but not much else. If anything it looks a little slow. Reckon we’ll need to give them 300 to chase to be semi comfortable.

Literally, I was relying on checking the score on Cricinfo every now and then throughout the day.

Hoping we can bat all day tomorrow and have a lead of at least 300...

Finch needs to be dropped and seriously even outside of resting the test players I can think of at least 4-5 better bowlers to have in the side as well as batsmen.

At the very least he needs to play some form of cricket and put some runs on the board before he is considered a walk-up opener for the World Cup. You can't have an opener who hasn't scored runs in more than a year. Plus Finch keeps getting beaten by pace, and he's facing elite pace bowlers every time he opens the innings. He should just do the team thing and step down as captain.

It's anyone's game but I'd rather be WA at this point.

Yeah they are basically 3/171 on going into a fourth-day pitch. Even if they collapse tomorrow they should be defending 250 which would not be a terribly easy target. If they don’t fall in a heap (and some of the lower order guys can bat) then the Vics should be chasing 300+.
