Watched the last few overs of this last night, kid is going to be a genuine superstar, but I've seen bigger postage stamps than that field. Team that lost made 230 ffs
Also will probably never play test cricket despite being the best bat of his generation.

Watched that Brevis innings live.

He was dropped on 96ish but mocking the ground size isn't doing justice to some of his hits. I reckon at least 4 6's ended up being lost balls.

That oval has hosted almost all of this South African tournament and no scores have threatened what they got yesterday on both sides (I.e pitch was just a road, and umps were tight on calling wides).

Best 6 was one that hit a light pole 25m behind the rope 15m up the pole. Genuinely devastating hitting.

Quick check.

No scores of 200+ the entire tournament before yesterday on that ground (24 matches).

The game later that night a team defended 160.
Yeah but I watched 3 overs and it looked small

I reckon you could run a half decent third umpire setup for the domestic comp pretty cheaply, has been a few decisions that looked bad on replay today

On a ball he didn't hit.

If you're going to send in the nightwatchman after one of your openers gets dismissed in the first over, why not just send out the nightwatchman to open?
This has always been mystifying to me.

Nightwatchies are a waste of time in the first place in my opinion anyway.
