That’s what I mean - they keep making finals/semis but not being able to replicate their early tournament form.

Bit harsh, they were very good in the 2019 and 2021 semis, played well in the 2021 final til Marsh got going, and the less said about the 2019 final from their perspective the better.

Their problem is they have a small talent pool so need to be at their best to compete, and they mostly are.

Except without the ability to bowl unplayable yorkers. He’s clearly got a good record otherwise he wouldn’t play so much franchise and national t20, but every time I’ve seen him in the IPL or NZ matches he’s getting picked off for boundaries and not taking wickets
