Move over DazzlerSixers to win this, Heat will crumble with an inexperienced batting order and the Sixers are a professional outfit.
Best to stay hydratedHeat could be dangerous on Saturday.
One wicket away from an all time chokeBeat me to it. Always a good time reading this thread during games.
It’s like if Biff read the Almanac upside down.

Early 2018 was pretty brutal. Finish top of ladder, get to play the first big event at Optus and it sells out, then completely choke as we're not used to the flat wicket compared to the WACA. Back in the days when there were on second chances.Feels like this is a good result for the Scorchers, tempting fate perhaps. Losing the final in the second season is still my worst BBL moment as a Scorchers fan.
That's the second worst memory for mine. IIRC Wade went crazy and we had to chase 220. The third would be capitulating so badly against the Stars in the last game in BBL05 that we fell to third and lost the right to host the final we eventually played against them next game. We were chasing ~160 but only needed to make 120 or so to finish second and we stupidly threw everything at the win instead of going a run a ball to get to the target needed to finish 2nd. We ended up bowing out meekly in that final. In fact the end of that entire season sucked. The Thunder had snuck into 4th that season, Khawaja came back for them just before the finals and he won them the title.Early 2018 was pretty brutal. I was there, yelling at Nathan Hauritz. And the ****er had a blinder.Feels like this is a good result for the Scorchers, tempting fate perhaps. Losing the final in the second season is still my worst BBL moment as a Scorchers fan.
