Something to do with the dye and the leather interacting?? You would think, logically, that there would be no difference, but there is.What is the actual difference between the balls besides the colour? Is it not simple to make them exactly the same ball just a different colour?
It's quite remarkable.Something to do with the dye and the leather interacting?? You would think, logically, that there would be no difference, but there is.

Doesn't this rule out colour blind players from playing tests ?
I have a feeling it's a problem under lights. Not sureDoesn't this rule out colour blind players from playing tests ?
(Was it Chris Rogers that couldn't play Day Night tests because of this ?)
I think when it came about, Rogers was pushing for an Orange ball to be used instead as that apparantly wasn't going to be an issue. They could still "see" the ball surely!
Sex life?Rogers stiff
Orange was one of the first colours tried way back in one of the domestic one day series (Mercantile?). Anyway, short-lived as was impossible to see under lights.I think when it came about, Rogers was pushing for an Orange ball to be used instead as that apparantly wasn't going to be an issue.
Not sure if its the ball or the day night aspect, but Rogers would have played Day/Night Domestic One Dayers ?
