If you wanted to be really charitable, you could say that they’re trying to abbreviate them all to 3 characters, which would explain the weird WAU and SAU. But then the Queensland one makes no sense, because literally everyone abbreviates it as QLD.

Would have been doing better if Stoinis didn’t get run out. Bird is a pretty handy bowler at this level

He got run out in the first innings last match too. Someone needs to remind him that these matches are 4 days, not 20 overs each side.

I remain baffled as to why sides won’t send out one or even two night watchmen when they have 2-4 overs to negotiate to open their innings, but then they’ll use the night watchman when one of their openers gets knocked over.

You have to trust the openers, that is their job after all to negotiate tricky conditions as the front line

Then why not trust the number 3, whose job it is to come out and face the music following an early wicket?

Trust the plan A, but revert to plan B if that doesn't work

As someone else said, why send in the night watchman at 3 then? I understand not using the nightwatchman and I would understand using them as an opener, but to me if you’re going to send in a tail order batsman in the second over after your opener got knocked over, then why not just send him out to open?
