Maybe but either way if this gives us a chance at 2-2 (and avoiding relying on the Sri Lanka and New Zealand result for the WTC final) then I'm pleased. Would be nice to finally not lose a series in India (even if they still retain the trophy). You'd think survival to lunch would put us in a commanding position, as it is a 47 run lead is still quite slender on a pitch we have to bat last on. A non-negotiable should be no stupid shots and trying to eke out a 100 run lead.

Really hoping Green comes out and plays positively and uses his reach to smother the spin. A lot of batsmen getting caught out playing back to the one that stays low and turns sharply.
So far the morning sessions have been the hardest to bat on. If somehow he and Handscomb can weather the storm and bat out the first hour we could go 250.
On the flip side we have a really long tail so if we lose a couple of wickets early the innings could be over really quickly.
