I only caught the last four balls, two of which were bouncers and should have been called wide. I don't blame the ump for not calling it though.

Soft in the sense there was absolute no pressure and he played a crap shot and got himself out.

The score was one run and one wicket away from having all 4 results being possible off the last ball. It would only have been the second time in FC cricket to have ever happened (and the first in Tests).
