Getting what we deserve and rain saving us would be unjust. 2-2 heading into the last would be epic at least.

The side selected looks awful to me. Unbalanced and lacking the lead spinner you simply need in England, as I said. Lyon's injury didn't have to be the turning point as we have a capable replacement we misused last game then ignored here. Not good.

Not much point stacking the line up with batsmen if none of them can convert.

The bowling and fielding tactics highly questionable. I hate having a bowling captain and hope it changes soon. I still think Head is the go.

Deathwatch on Cummins as captain. Or does he knife the scapecoach? Either way, something needs to change. Too many games lost (or saved only by moments of individual brilliance) from dumb, dumb, dumb cricket.

I think this is more reflective on the coaching stuff rather than Cummins directly. They'd be giving him the main directions.
