Sad but it does seem like Starc's time has well and truly come. I have some hope at least, of all of the NSW cartel, that he will recognise it and have a more dignified exit than say, Warner. God knows the selectors don't have it in them to drop him.

Afghanistan probably shouldn’t be playing international cricket at all - what the Taliban does to women is in the same ballpark as the apartheid that got South Africa banned for years.

But while they’re still playing, I have to say they’re doing a hell of a job of it. Always had good spinners, and now their batters are decent too. Still a sneaky chance of making the semis.
