be interesting to see if playing someone with COVID is worth it too, I would say Green wasn’t his usual best in the field.

reckon if it wasn’t game 2 of the new deal, he would have been rested

Then bring in Green who was rightfully dropped for a lack of form and had done nothing to earn a recall, partly due to a complete lack of cricket

Bancroft is bog average, no issue with his non selection.

Smith has failed twice on tough batting decks with the new ball, he deserves an extended run.

Green shouldve been playing in that CA XI warm up game in Adelaide. I'm still fine with him at 4, he looked a lot more assertive early on today at least which was a better sign.

Smith played way way too far across which has been a growing weakness for him and why he shouldn’t be opening
