I'd like to have Rockliff to win the ball.
I'd like to have Dusty to use the ball.
I'd like to have Whitfield on the wing.
I'd like to have Lever in defence.
I'd like to have Kelly to deliver the ball into the F50.

Of all the players in the AFL, surely it's not unreasonable to ask for just 5?

I'm no expert but what do people see in Hopper that I can't?
Hopper is a dead set gun who is coming off a couple of injuries, one of those being his back I think.
Another is a heart condition I believe that went undiagnosed for quite some time.
Beast of a kid with a ready to play body. Good attitude. Legitimate A grade contested prospect with a reasonable tank to run out games.

Only deficiency I see in his game is a lack of versatility as he is a mid only who would need to be schooled by Clarkson in defence off half back or half forward where he can push to contests as an extra mid.

Think Joel Selwood & you will be pretty close

Really interesting piece in the HS this week about midfield guns that not only have the same impact when hard tagged, but sometimes do better. They did quite a robust stats breakdown. Rockliff was one of a handful that came out top... is there any chance we're into him?

He's like magic eye puzzle - if you watch him for long enough you see the real picture beneath the fog of all the kicks handballs clearances and goals. He's a bloody ripper.

Would love him at the Hawks.

How many shoulders has he done?
I think we can only nurse one super mid on the list through a career, wouldn't be thrilled trying to take on a second....

Brand and Kurt aren't first choice defenders when we have full list to choose from so with Gibbo on last legs that tells me Clarko is confident about a KPD coming to the Hawks at the end of the year although I keep hearing we are definitely talking to a 'prominent' Mid! well, it wouldn't be a interesting trade period without Hawks been involved!!

If we are to trade anyone in next years pick will be gone in it.

If not we are only getting Fyfe or Dusty.

Interesting, cheers mate! Out of interest, how is young Kieran Collins going for you guys? Was a few that were miffed when we didn't draft him.
He seems to be going alright, had a few niggling injuries last year so couldn't get any real continuity. Tracking about on par for a second year KPD

Spoke to a Lions fan friend of mine, and she says he was shopped round to all and sundry last year with no takers...maybe his attitude last year was a turn off.

His biggest problem wasn't as a player or that of being a lad, it was that as a captain he made some dumb comments and used social media to voice his frustrations, people couldn't separate the player from the captain.
This marked him down
