Leagues Big Footy Group league

I have created a group league that every one in the Big footy family can participate in. In order to participate simply follow the instructions below:

1. If you have ALREADY REGISTERED for the Dream Team - AFL Competition, simply click the following link (you may need to login):
http://sportsdeck.com/au/afl/dreamteam/group?cic=630243
(Once logged in, simply confirm your invitation and you'll be automatically added. Private Groups are a separate feature to the ten head-to head leagues of 18, in which you may continue to participate as usual).

2. If you have NOT YET REGISTERED, simply click on the link below and fill in the registration form as usual:
http://sportsdeck.com/au/afl/dreamteam/?p=register&group_code=630243
(On successful registration, you'll automatically be added to this Group. Simply look for the "GROUPS" tab in the nav of your Leagues page).

There doesn't appear to be a lot of love for our Group league with only nine entrants so far. For those who have not been in a group league before, it is totally different to a normal league. You do not play against anyone week after week but it merely ranks you all in order as per your total score. It gives you an idea as to how you rate amongst everyone else in the group rather than merely those in your league. I see no reason why most people on the forum would not join - unless you're embarrassed as to how bad you are going to look.

The thread view count can be seen by anyone, you don't have to be logged into Bigfooty to view threads/forums except the secret moderator forums that we can't see or Bay 13. I bet people just google this stuff and it shows up.

A lot of posters lurk around too, Supercoach is the most popular games forum on here however.

18 is pretty good considering only 30 odd have stated interest to play on the BF leagues so far.

Nope. Had another look and in going to last page, now shows 25.

Oh, now the penny drops. How ya going Pablo? What was that comp that we were doing so well in a couple of years ago. I was disappointed when they just did it on a weekly basis the following year. So what's the name of your team this year? bty - you're not going to be persuaded by other's opinions by expressing your own.

Coot - was that the DTC all stars comp? The one where the mods drafted coaches in? Take your point re; others opinions. Just had a bit of success in avoiding group think. May post a bit as the season is mid-way.

No - it wasn't DTC. I remember now that it was sportal.com.au. I think they still do weekly comps but haven't seen anything from them about 2016.
