Is Lynch a bit one dimensional?
Ive seen him take big marks and dominate a full back, but does he fit Clarko's mantra of flexibility?

Lol jks Lynch. There is really no point going for anyone else, eggs should almost all be in that basket. Otherwise see how guys like schache/weideman are going in 12 months time.
What would be wrong with Casboult for the right price?
We do not have a forward, bomb it long, marking option. Just some pinch hitters, from time to time.
With the exception of the Tigers every team playing finals this year has a traditional big forwardThe game is moving away from the traditional big forwards so I would rather us not get any of them.

We won two out of our three peat with Roughy as our big forward, challenged in 2016 without big Rough, I think we go ok. That's not to say that we can't improve, but specifically targeting a big forward on big money seems unnecessary, especially as we have some developing tall timber. With the exception of the Tigers every team playing finals this year has a traditional big forward
Adelaide - Tex
Handbaggers - Porkins
Tigers - none (Griffiths has been a failure and now Townsend is playing that role)
GWS - Patton
Port - Dixon
Swans - Buddy
* - Daniher
Eagles - Kennedy
Pulled the pin on his coaching job at Devonport down here in Tassie on the weekend, so he's available. [emoji28]Whats Mitch Thorp doing these days ?

No, David Hale played the role of the big forward, and we didn't have him in 2016We won two out of our three peat with Roughy as our big forward, challenged in 2016 without big Rough, I think we go ok.
Yep. Hale not clunking them is hurting us. Made our Forward line unpredictable when he was there. No, David Hale played the role of the big forward, and we didn't have him in 2016
I loved Hale good footballer and cracking bloke, but to say he was our big forward isn't accurate. He was our ruck, who could also play forward. He averaged under a goal a game, not even remotely comparable to the 'big forwards' that have been referenced. For that matter his statistics don't even remotely match great small forwards. In 2016 Cegs kicked 14 goals, Hale kicked 18 in 2015.No, David Hale played the role of the big forward, and we didn't have him in 2016
He wasn't a goal kicking machine but he was the guy we kicked to when in trouble. Be that down the line or deep inside fifty. While he would take contested marks, Rioli, poppy and Breust feasted on his ability to bring the ball to ground. He also kicked over 20 goals the three years prior to 2015 which is elite for a ruck/forward.I loved Hale good footballer and cracking bloke, but to say he was our big forward isn't accurate. I'm still very optimistic that Timmy can fill that role. He's taking a while to develop, but I still think he can get there.
Yep, a few more kilos would not go astray. He crashed a few packs this year, and either clunked it or brought it to ground, he just needs to do it more often.I feel like we really need to put aside our propensity to not let players physically develop and put TO on a solid strength routine. He simply has not put on enough weight since he was drafted. He's quite a pacey player too so he should still be explosive even if he did put on some KGs.
