Cant wait for tonight, some good games for only the 3rd week in.

Lazio v Parma Live on RAI 11pm
Two awesome teams to watch, both very fast and score often with quality up front. Lazio has won every game this season in Italy or europe so far, but this will be a good test as to how good they will be. The squad seems to be a bit more settled these days, and Im sure will give the Scudetto a shake. Parma are never as easy team to play.

2-2

Juventus v Roma RAI 6:30am tomorrow.
Well this is the big one for the week. Probably the 2 most in form sides in Italy, both scoring many goals. Juve looked a little lackluster midweek, however the history with Roma will ensure this will be spiteful and played at a great tempo.

I think Roma are going to give the title race an almighty nudge, and I wouldnt be suprised if they win it. They have a good squad, perhaps not overly deep, but dont have the CL distraction. They have also seemingly got over their dramas on and off the field last season, and into the squad come quality proven european players in Chivu (Ajax) and Carew (Valencia). Totti-Montella-Casano is working awesome at the moment. All 3 are confident, and Casano seems to have settled. He is one of the most talented players in italy, however the youngster has a very hot head. If he settles, can be anything. Will definitely get up for this one.

2-1

Inter v Sampdoria
Inter havnt been in great form, then pulled out a shallacking midweek. They will be missing Zanetti. Sampdoria are back, and made some signings which should see them do much better than most promoted sides. I hope for their sake Doni finds form. I expect an Inter win, but havnt impressed against inferior sides so far this season.

2-0

Perugia v Milan
Tougher assignment than it looks for Milan. We lost there last year and we are in very ordinary form. Add-in Nesta to the injury list (defenders already out include Kaladze and Pancaro), and this one may get very tricky. La Gazzetta suggests Rui Costa and Kaka will start. Will be interesting to see how they go together.

1-1

Balogna v Udinese
Two of the bigger "little" teams, both will finish mid table, it is an even contest. Bologna definitely need a win and i expect them to get it at home.

1-0

Brescia v Reggina
a big clash at the bottom of the table. Brescia are coming off a shallacking at the hands of Roma, while Reggina have managed 2 draws. Forza Reggina!

1-1

Lecce v Chievo
Lecce are at home, and Chievo have been disapointing this season so far. Id say Lecce will take this one out.

2-1

Yea, but Im just not confident against the lower teams at the moment. Last season our pi$$ poor showings in these sortsa games basically cost us a run at the title.

i hope your right. btw are u "The Shev" from MM?

Well, some nice goals scored overnight. Lazio-Parma was a great game to watch, which got off the mark straight away with a Bresciano goal within 30 seconds. At the other end of the game, it was the Aussie who won it for Parma. Lazio will spew not getting a point, but a great win for Parma.

Inter and Milan continued on their extremely ordinary form so far this season, both sharing points against teams they shouldnt really. I said Perugia would be a tough task for Milan, who finished with 10 men and Inzaghi in hospital, however the Inter draw shocked me. When is Vieri back?

Juve-Roma was another cracker, which saw Juve take control then in the end the home side was lucky to get a point! Di Vaio replaced the injured Del Piero early, and scored a brace either side of a brilliant Chivu set piece. Zebina levelled with only 3 minutes to go with a brilliant drive (deflected tho), then with hardly any time left Totti found himself with only Buffon to beat however he shot straight at the Juve keeper.

Goals galore at Brescia which saw an 8 goal draw, Chievo got an away win at Lecce while Bologna beat Udinese 2-0.

After 3 games there are still 5 teams locked the top, with Lazio a point off. I dare say this season will be extremely tight with a number of teams who can win it.

Club P Pts
Roma 3 7
Juventus 3 7
Parma 3 7
Milan 3 7
Inter 3 7
Lazio 3 6
Siena 3 4
Bologna 3 4
Chievo 3 4
Reggina 3 3
Lecce 3 3
Udinese 3 3
Sampdoria 3 2
Perugia 3 2
Brescia 3 2
Modena 3 1
Ancona 3 1
Empoli 3 1

Your prediction was right Smokin`, I should have known better. Especially without Nesta in defence. Interesting formation, using Rui Costa and Kaka`. Rino Gattuso finally scored a cracker and Inzaghi was hospitalised. Ambrosini red-carded. That's the 3rd already this year for us. Luckily everyone else drew and we are still equal first.

Yes, I am from MM.

Inzaghi had a collision with big Aussie Kalac apparently.

Anyway....BREEEEEEEEESCIAAAAAAANO. A late stunner from Bresciano got Parma over the line against a classy outfit, Lazio.

Guys like Blasi and Morfeo are doing well.

Paaaaarma.

Yea i just hope our trend of struggling against lower teams doesnt continue this season. I mean we were lucky against bologna as well.

Pippo got cleaned up by Kalac - apparently has wiplash altho from reports isnt serious.

Del Piero is out for a month they reckon as well.

Vieri and Pippo should be sweet for the last euro qualifier, but Del Piero seems unlikley.

Serie A Fans,

Where is Bresciano playing for Parma?

And is he able to play in the Okon role?

Or is Grella a better option for the Okon role?

im pretty sure he has been playing left-wing, but i think he is the better man for the okon role. grella is good, but needs to serve more of an apprenticeship to okon and skoko imo. but in the long run he will be MUCH better then those 2.

Correct. He's played on the left of midfield so far this season with Nakata in the centre. He has alot of responsiblity on him this season with Lamouchi departing and Brighi going out on loan and thankfully the boy is responding.

Big Night of Seria A?

It sure was in division 2!

The Italian supporters are ****ing disgraceful. The game in that country is in disrepute thanks to racist, violent thugs with nothing better do with their lives.
