YG, I have one last question, since i have read so many of your posts tonight, it came to my attention.

Could you explain why you used your 35 character limit to post that information in your signature?

Gumby's only 1 week away (Says EFC.com).

Also why wouldn't we bring in Dempsey, he'd be a perfect replacement for Davey....

Even though Pears has had a good run, with our loses he would need a bit of a confidence booster at bendigo, before he'd be at his best again in the future.

Dominating in the 2's will do good for him anyway....

Gumby is 1 week away from playing for Bendigo. He will probably only play a half of football. He is 3-4 weeks away from playing seniors.

Why risk Dempsey next week against Port when we have the break the following week? If he misses this week he gets 3 weeks of recovery/Bendigo.

Let's get these guys right once and for all.

To be honest..... I just wanna win, and if bringing in Dempsey or Gumby will get us over the line with the slight risk of re-injury. Right at the moment I'd take it....

Cause I don't think I can take another sh1thouse performance from our players any more...

Port will smash us as always! Nothing will change from yesterday till next Sunday. We will get killed in the midfield(Stoppages & Clearances) & killed in the ruck.

Most likely yeah we'll get smashed!!!

Unless Knighta has some sort of a Mark Harvey Miracle (Like Freo did last night) then we're F___ed for the season.(Freo were unlucky)

Its anoying how for the last 3 or 4 weeks we have gone out with the exact same game plan of running the ball from defence into our fifty...

You would have thought that with our injuries of Mcveigh, Jetta, Dempsey and Lonergan he would have tried to work around them and give our struggling players a gamestyle that suites them for a few weeks.

Cause lets face it. Watson, Stanton and Slattery are just terrible when it comes to running with the ball, and when they are successfull in doing it they are absolutly buggered and if it causes a turnover its just an easy goal for the opposition cause those guys aren't there defending on the other teams midfielders, cause they're too slow to get back on them.

Fletcher, McVeigh and Lucas all out. 3 of our best 4 players out. We are being decimated by injury. Tough ask to beat Port. As usual ill keep my faith and considering Port's recent poor form it isnt entirely impossible that we can beat them. All I ask for is the boys to show some fight and passion for the jumper. Disgusting performance on ANZAC Day.
Add Davey - that makes 4 out of 5 (Hille only fit)

Gumby in for Fletch?

Myers in for Jobe?

Dempsey in for Pears?

Anyone in for Johns?

There's going to be a lot of changes made for next week!

watson was close to our best yesterday dont you watch the footy myers hasnt touched it in a half in the twos

The only ones showing anything are daniher and hislop
johnno and pev are completely finished

We are no chance next week.

Lack of fit, quality manpower will kill any side. Look at how West Coast have disintegrated.

My only hope is an honourable loss with no injuries and after that we can start afresh with a two break and most of our players back.

well i think its about time we beat port they have had it on us for too long.....plus me living in adelaide and with my family and mates following the ferals lol i cop it enough....im feeling confident......:)

If I could go to any game, I'd go. Regardless of if we're first or last.

I know you're 14 and live in Frankston but geez don't you have any mates that you could at least go to the footy with (even if they don't follow Essendon) ?

Surely your parents cannot be that cruel??

I've already tagged mine.....

It say "YG was here"

I'm also on the wing. Row A. With the Stupid Bared fence in my view.

Cool, I'm in Row 'B'

What's the Bared fence

I have to ask a dumb question for this is my first reserve seat but I just walk up to the gate and swipe it without lining up anywhere

I'm pretty young as well,

And when it comes down to arguing about going to the footy, my attitude always wins with them.

If anything, I'm more cruel to my parents.:p

Take this on board (sean).

Its the bars that stop anyone from falling over the edge.

On Level 3 I mean. It always blocks my view but is a good foot rest.

Nah, I've nagged my mum enough just to let me go see Gilly's last game in Melbourne and go to the cricket 3 times this summer.

Under the circumstances 30,000 would be about right.

In 2006 we played Port in about round 7. We were 1-6 (or thereabouts and we had lost 6 in a row and they were also 1-6.

The crowd that night was 29,000. I remember thinking at the time, that we were on the bottom and playing an interstate team so that 29,000 is about as low as we can go. And that match two years ago, Port dead-set had NO fans there. Nothing.

Sunday twilight might take a few away this week, but overall 30-31,000 seems about right and would be good under the circumstances.

Don't think we will win, though. We need the bye, badly to regroup.
