Getting off topic a bit, but yes, Faze is a real word. Here's some synonyms from google:
abash, annoy, appall, awe, bother, confound, confuse, daunt, deter, discomfit, disconcert, discountenance, discourage, dishearten, dismay, dumbfound, horrify, irritate, muddle, mystify, nonplus, overawe, perplex, puzzle, rattle, shake, stop, vex
I think we all know the meaning of the word 'phase' so I wont paste it in.
Compliment/complement is another one that often gets people (Dice man got it right though).
I know Faze is a real word, i was merely pointing out that it was used in the wrong context...
