I would never have come close to doing such a trade with the Cardinals if a future first was involved. My offer was very much a take it or leave it deal, was very content to stay at 7 and taken the best defensive player on the board at that point.
The trade down from 3 to 4 and Kenny Moore is a fair trade though on both sides imo.

We're talking 4 slots. I agree I got the better end of the deal but I don't think trading up 4 slots in this instance would be worth giving up two second round picks. It was a unique situation because Dixie messaged me asking if I wanted the trade - their offer was 3 for 7 and the Raiders first 3rd round pick (around pick 70). Obviously demand wasn't there because if there was the offer would have been a lot more.
The assumption also probably would have been that I was going to take a QB. I had zero intention of ever taking a QB. From my perspective I was mulling over the offer in terms of whether to go for it and get Will Anderson or sit at 7 and hope one of Carter or Gonzalez were still available. Trading down from 3 to 4 adding Kenny Moore was nothing more than a well executed bluff to add a further player at a position of need (slot corner) all the while knowing my preferred player (Anderson) was still going to be available after said trade down.
I can't specifically speak for Dixie but I can imagine they probably thought they could trade down 4 slots and still get one of Anderson or Carter. If they assumed I would take a QB, fair assumption Indy takes a QB, Seattle probably takes Anderson or Carter then it's a gamble on hoping Detroit takes a DB ahead of whoever out of Anderson and Carter weren't yet selected. In which case they still get one of the top two defensive prospects in the draft and get an additional day 2 pick. Not a bad result I would think.
I'll take the Rams and Browns if you like. Both teams not picking until the second round which will give me time to get up to speed.
