Can someone fill me in on Yarran? Do that many people really expect him to play round 1? Not saying I don't rate him but I just can't see him having that good a pre-season that Ross would pick him for the first few games.

Great goal sense, good mark, extraordinary speed. He is 26 years old and good size .
Basically the same size as Mayne but lighter.
He kicked something like 75 goals in the WAFL , scorched the WAFL grand final and is ready to go.

At 26, we have not drafted him for depth or to spend a year developing.
