Booting Otten for GAblett this week so captaincy choice solved for the entire year barring injuries. I wish I picked Ablett last week, would have been 30K and 140 odd points better off.

did not explain my self , did put a thread up on main board, meant that because its a split round , by having your capt and vc playing in the second week ie GAJ as capt and Pav as VC , you hope both stay healthy . By choosing your Vc in 1st week you pretty much guarantee double points if your capt pulls up sore and does not play in the following week. Highly unlikely that both yr capt and VC in the second week dont play but you never know.

I was the same, ended up using the Cornes injury to get Ablett in.

I have to say, it does help cover up some of the players turning in crap performances weekly.

AH, the split round. As a supporter, I love it. I really do. Give the players a well earned break before turning for home. Gives players with the niggles a extra rest.

But as a Super Coach it blows chucks. Having to lock down your side with 6 teams still outstanding makes life most tricky.

Fevola and Fisher haven't helped you and to a lesser extent Cox (only given you'd be banking on gaining points on me having Petrie)
I still have plenty of inconsistent players to come though with Adcock, McVeigh and Shaw all capable of putting in terrible scores

Well, this week I will complete my team with Rich out and Mitchell in. Hopefully that will give me the boost to squeeze into 8th position before finals start. My percentage is still relatively good so that should help a bit.

This is my first year in BF competition and it is awesome to have everyone so even. Great fun/challenge despite me losing heaps.
