And with that we now approach our two teams per episode portion of the series! First up is GWS and Brisbane who both bowed out in the semi-finals, if you have any questions about there draft hand, likely targets, or want to tell us the sorts of players they need, drop it below and we can assess it on the podcast 🥰🥰

The two experts in the upcoming episode will be Pie 4 Life and myself as well

Q1. Would GWS potentially consider trading pick 13 for Brisbane’s 2022 first round pick, regardless of if Neale stays or goes?

Q2. Can you describe what type of player Mitchell Knevitt is? His size, athleticism, who he plays like.

👍

I understand you may not be able to get to all of these questions, so I've ranked them in order of priority to me:

1. Should Brisbane seek to trade their 2022 pick into this draft, or wait and see what position it is first, then trade it into 2023?

2. Joe Daniher will be 28 at the beginning of next season. Is this draft the best time to take a KPF prospect to eventually take over for him, or can it wait a year or two?

3. In terms of providing movement out of defence, Wilmot or Wanganeen-Milera?

4. Do Brisbane still need to draft an inside midfielder given we have several young ones who aren't getting opportunities at the highest level at present, and Will Ashcroft is set to join in a year's time?

Well, PMBangers, it's not like there's much you wouldn't already have in your head but:
  • What are GWS' options at pick #4, (after bids, presumably!) and should we draft best available or for needs (and what is our biggest need in your perception)?
  • If Norths were to not select Horne-Francis, would we, and how does that fit with the rest of the list?
  • Assuming Hopper signs on but Riccardi leaves, what's your perception of GWS list needs, and how does that get done this draft period (and who are options)?
  • Presuming Mummy retire, we only have the 3 specialist rucks on the books - do we need to draft a junior ruck, and if so, who/where?
  • Presuming Riccardi leaves, we only have 4 KPFs on the books - do we need to draft a developing KPF, and if so, who/where?
Thanks.

Might need to mark that one as explicit 😅😅 little F bomb near the start

Back for another episode at this stage this week, and it's an Episode 10 sequel with myself and Pie 4 Life on to discuss the draft moves of Geelong and Port Adelaide, so as usual if you have any questions about these sides send them through and we'll get to them!

I reckon, by the end of this podcast, PMBangers and Pie 4 Life will be at loggerheads.

That sounds pay per view worthy with Neil Erasmus as the referee.
Ratings will be sky high. My favourite part was throwing him under the bus last episode too.

So a discussion of the emerging list needs and logical draft and trade targets for the Geelong football club.

Hoo boy. How much time have you set aside?

In seriousness it might be quicker to rule out what the cats probably won't need in 2023. In terms of priorities would you rule out big changes to the forward line or back line where there are replacement players (of varying capability) and instead focus entirely on midfield players?

If the cats were hunting for mids with a clear second position (so they can be trickled in) which kind of names would you look at? Knowing that some of these guys will go from 2s with cameos at best to possible b22 in the side within 20 or so games and we have a bunch of 2nds.

If you're the cats management, how many promises do you make to get Clark to put off the freo move, even for just one more year?

Are guys like Talia worth a look as a way to get an extra development coach outside the soft cap? You may have noticed that the assistant coaching mix at the cats resembles a particularly macabre episode of game of thrones.

Also, a game:
Keep, Extend, Delist geriatric edition
Pick a player over 30 at the cats to extend for a year, a player to extend for 3 years, and an immediate delist target.

Alternatively just hit us with all the delists.[/I]

Our final episode is coming this week before we ram head first into the trade and draft period completely, and of course Melbourne and Western Bulldogs will be our focus, so if dees or doggies fans have any particular questions for our draft experts (draft experts TBA) to answer, drop them in here and we'll try and get to them!

How much time will be dedicated to BFONE?
