Just a heads up all, my flight got canceled Monday and I never ended up in NZ until late last night. So I'll be simming the matches tonight or sometime tomorrow, when I get hold of a laptop.

Have no fear, matches will be here!

I'll still be drunk.

I'm wearing helmet you can't eat my brains.
Nice recolour of the old Bengals logos.

However, I don't think Fantasy cricket has zombies that you need to worry about brains being eaten. And you should probably take a break from binging through TWD and iZombie.

One thing I might suggest is that mid season each team can change up to two players roles (eg batsman/bowler/pure allrounder).

This is because some roles might prove to be ineffective due to the stats and it would be annoying for an active player to be stuck in a s**t role while an inactive is a wicketkeeper or something that has guaranteed selection.

I like the idea, but with one condition.

A player cannot move from a pure bat to pure bowl, or vice versa.

Here is a list of all possible roles in order:
wk
Pure bat
Bat AR
Pure AR
Bowl AR
Pure bowl.

A player can only move one up or down the list, not two. Otherwise there is too much flexibility.

Curious as to what stats you are inputting in the sim for each player type... can you please post them here?

I am running some praccy matches for Red Centre, and will use the same stats.

Thank you :)

I think we take baby steps.

5 round season.
25/25 and 50 over matches
12-15 man squads

We can build from there.
IS a 20/20 really needed? From memory, the run rate of teams do not really jump for shorter than 50 over format...

Or am I thinking of mac-cricket (which is the best PC cricket game ever)?

We played 25/25 on TAE it was pretty good and some matches got to 250 runs.

I like it better than 50 overs.

iBeng . And they have been posted around the board a few times, just can't seem to find them.

We will be using a sim design especially for T20 games. The sim that is being used for Test and OD games only goes to 25 over matches.

Ah - must be thinking of mac-cricket. A shorter match than 50 overs would still only get a run-rate of around 6, so it was not that great.
