the new standings are up - the Warriors are still in front, and it is only a formality that they will play Victoria in the final, hence the poll to decide whether to cut the regular rounds short.

The player averages are updated for the captains to have a look at. I have updated the statistics in excel. Below i have a top 5 for each different category of stats.

In regards to the All-Australian team. If Victoria and West Coast both win, the round robin matches could finish this week, so i would like captains to recognize that some players are on the cusp of All-Australian selection, and i would hope they do the right thing by their players and choose them for this weeks side.
If this were to be the final week the following players would have definately secured a position:
In Batting Order:
1 Kanga's biggest fan
2 (Scott, Joey, NICK THE PIE MAN, Visro)
3 Jod23
4 (Visro, daddy_4_eyes, THE ICON, Same Old's, Carb70, NIKOFF)
5 (Visro, daddy_4_eyes, THE ICON, Same Old's, Carb70, NIKOFF)
6 (Fred, ONE EYE, SpecialBruce)
7 (Crow54, creator)
8 Smokey
9 carneagles
10 (Mobbenfuhrer, GLEN, CJ, Dipper, marksgirl-kbcrowgirl)
11 (Homer, Stephen, GoEagles, Frodo)

The ones in bold are positioned that would be secure if the competition ends this weekend. The other positions are all up for grabs between the playes in the brackets. So i would hope the captains give consideration to those who are pressing for selection.

Team of the week, Round 6
Scott (South Australia) - 84 of 126 balls
Kanga's biggest fan (Victoria) - 25 of 25 balls
Jod23 (West Coast Warriors) - 80* of 94 balls
NIKOFF (West Coast Warriors) - 100 of 94 balls
Samuels (Victoria) - 57 of 73 balls
Fred (Victoria) - 27 of 32 balls and 3/23 of 5 overs

Sure eagleskickass, one of the most economical bowlers should be a consideration for the team. He hasn't got the wickets but he sure keeps the runs down!

Vis

if eagleskickass has a big weekend, it would put him into consideration, and perhaps in the 15 man squad, but i think he will just fall short of the 11 man team.
