I only ever went to one club that had smoking allowed, for the high school formal afterparty when I was 17 just before the new laws came in. It was an underground club almost like it was designed to maximise the lingering of smoke. And even though I was a full time smoker and had been for a few years, I spent most of the night feeling sick and hanging out near the front to try and get some fresh air (no passouts). Definitely better to not smoke in pubs/clubs

Banning smoking in clubs and pubs and stuff was one of the best things ever.
Funny how a lot of us were used to it though. Last night really knocked me around sitting in a small confined area with Marlboros getting puffed everywhere. Just starting to come good now.

Wasn't EVs obviously. Haha. Not sure why I skipped the Bolt Thrower show there. Stange to think now that they played there.

Yeah used to be just a part of going out. Was nothing worse than waking up hungover and your clothes stinking of durries.

Don't personally have anything against actual smokers, that's entirely their decision and everyone is entitled to a vice, but I can't stand them myself and the stricter and wider the rules get and the less I have to walk by or even sniff the filthy shit the better.

Worked in a pub through Uni, used to close at 3am Friday nights. I'd walk out coughing my lungs out. Sucked ass big time. Was wrapt when the ban came in....best call ever.

I'll try check a few of them out when I get home, I've never seen the Business before. Are CDs cheaper over there or easier to get rare ones?
Second hand is cheaper and much better variety - the Rage cds were about $7 from memory. Actually none of the second hand ones I bought were over $13 or so. Japanese pressings of new albums are more expensive and up to $35. New album imports about the same cost, maybe a $1 cheaper or do. Japanese pressings of older albums about $20. That Business album is the 'comeback' from around 89. Has some good songs on it but the guitar tone a bit weak. Has one of my favourite Business songs on it as a bonus 'Conventry' (off The Sound of Oi!).
