You might be right, although I definitely read they’d ‘called it a day’ at one point. We’ll see I guess....where did you see them?
Just checked Facebook and seen this from December 2015 "After ten years as a band, we are putting Ghost Brigade on hiatus for indefinite period of time." So it doesn't too good

Seen them at Wacken in 2010 and Metal Days 2014. Was only a little familiar with them prior to Wacken, but were definitely one of the main attractions for me to go to Metal Days along with Moonsorrow.

Just had the new Corrosion of Conformity album land on my doorstep which got released today. I pre-ordered with JB cos I was sick of going in there and there not being new stuff on the shelf.

Loving it so far, very heavy, production is pretty organic. They've been using the same producer for the last 20+ years so their sound is always on point. Recommended if you're a fan at all.

Wow.. Corrosion of Conformity. Blast from the past.

Reminds me of my 1st ever live metal gig - them and Segression (lol) Supporting Pantera at the Perth Entertainment Centre in 2001.

A quick google of the concert back in '01 returned this of all things, hahaha.

There are some really ordinary posts in that thread haha! A mate of mine was at the Adelaide leg of that Pantera tour and he told me that during CoC's set the crowd was being unruly and chanting for Pantera, so Phil came out and told everyone to shut up and show some respect. Wish I was there, just a little bit before I started going to gigs.

My memory is a bit hazy but i'm pretty sure the same exact story also happened in Perth.

I was at the Melbourne gig, at Festival Hall. Walked in during CoC's set, but didn't notice ant issues. Phil was drunk af during Pantera's set, though.

Was that the gig he got the massive joint out and smoked it onstage?
Might have been. There was something big, either a joint or an over sized bottle. He was acting like a total arsehole though. Caught Down a few years later, and Phil's onstage persona was the complete opposite, couldn't have been any nicer.

Kaevum - Natur. A bit of a throwback to the second wave, but considering these guys are from Norway, it's not a surprise; they would have grown up with that stuff all around them.

If it was the same gig, I went with a mate and we took a change of clothes coz we knew we’d sweat and we were going out after. So we head down to St Kilda and (stupidly in hindsight) jumped into some bushes in a park behind The Palace to get changed....two longhaired guys with their pants off....in the bushes....in St.Kilda. Now when we scrambled out there seemed to be a whole audience waiting for us. Funny now, not so funny then

Yep. My friend who was and is a massive Pantera fan went to meet them at the airport as 17 year old or so. He tried to approach Phil for a photograph and his response was to barge past him and say "don't even F***ING LOOK at me man!" He then got a tap on the shoulder and turned around to see Dimebag who was more than happy to engage in conversation.

By all accounts was pretty cool a few years later but still doesn't excuse the fact he was a massive wanker at that time.

Yeah, everyone seems to say the same things about Dime, never heard a bad word about him.

Yeah was at the Pantera show too. My mate standing near me caught Vinnies drumstick, fought punters off trying to pinch it, had a box off tooheys red hidden in the alley next to FH, would duck out & skull beers whenever a 'shit song' was gonna be played.. Phil being off his ruddy head is what I recall most.. Haha
