Listening to the The Halo Effect's singles and getting excited for the new album. Nothing groundbreaking but i do really enjoy the combination of Mikael Stanne's vocals with old school In Flames style riffs

Just an EP for now. There’s some nice ‘good’ In Flames moments but I’m not sure they’ve really delivered on their aim of returning the old-In Flames sound they promised. I was expecting more tbh.

It doesnt measure up to old In Flames but i think its a step in the right direction and by that i mean its a better listen than recent efforts from Dark Tranquility and In Flames.
