Helloween - Gambling with the devil.

BTW that blind Frontiers album I purchased was Eisley Goldy. Total ******* shit. Was going to grab the new COC but got this instead. **** my life.

Watain twice tonight - don't mind it and it doesn't outstay its welcome.

I thought the single ‘Soul of Madness’ was ok. Clearly the rest of the album wasn’t? Never a fan of Giuffria back in the day so no surprises it’s shite.

Wouldn't mind checking out Suicidal Tendencies now that Lombardo is with them. Sounding tight.

Can't wait to see them at Download. ST and Gojira are pretty much the only bands I'm really keen to see there. The rest of the lineup is take it or leave it

I lasted three songs. Not my thing by a fair margin.

That Demilich album never clicked with me but they put on a killer show when I saw them in 06. As for the other band, does anyone consider them death metal? I'm still bemused that they got the Suffocation tour all those years back. Bizarre.

Lol. I thought I showed considerable restraint.
Mayhem? You’re in right?
Haha, it is better than that other Frontiers' album I bought. I am gonna have to research these Frontiers' albums a bit better - I blind buy most albums but have been burnt a couple of times now with Frontiers.

Underwhelmed. Sound was terrible at start, could not hear the lead melody on Funeral Fog. Got slightly better but guitars well down the entire show. Wasn't loud - could hear people talking. Was amused by Necrobutcher looking like Marty Feldman from Young Frankenstein. Quite a few 'bro' sorts there too carrying on like they were at the football - 'come on Mayhem', 'woooooooo', 'show us a ritual' and whistling. Do they ID everyone at that place? Was flattered given I am 40. Anyhow, that's my take.

I’m with DV on this one. Mix was horrible, Funeral Fog was almost unrecognisable for the most part. Hellhammer is a beast but we never even saw him. No danger, no attitude. Not sure why they need 2 guitarists either tbh but that might just be me being picky.

My mate summed it up best - “Black Metal Cabaret”.

Did see a dude getting round in a Pungent Stench t-shirt ha ha. Never seen one of them before!
