This is staggering.....

i couldn't bring myself to listen to more than a minute of it. Staggering is generous. Anyway, I'm listening to God Dethroned - The World Ablaze at the moment. I've liked them for a little while but im starting to really get into them now

Watching Dark on Netflix. German show and this scene is based in the 80s so this kid is blasting Kreator - Pleasure to Kill from his room. Obvious choice why but not a bad touch and not the standard angsty Metallica tune.

Most enjoyable gig I've been to was Testament in Sydney, I think '07 or '08. Classic lineup with Bostaph on drums. Apart from maybe one or two songs, everything else was from the first 5 albums. Chuck Billy's voice was booming. Skolnick schooled everyone on guitar that night. Opened the set with Over The Wall/Into the Pit and everyone went mental.

Edit: found the set list

Love it when crooks get iced.
Says bloke was late 40s. I'll go out on a limb and say he has been in and out of gaol his whole life. Basically a scumbag and burden to society. Probably got chance after chance after chance from bleeding hearts. Lock 'em up and don't let them out, or ice them with extreme prejudice when the chance arises. Great job by the police involved here. Hope they are recognised for their great public service.

Loser was probably ‘iced’ before he was ‘iced’.

I would have been at the Melbourne leg. If it's the Testament gig I'm thinking of, Hi-Fi Bar was packed, there was nowhere to turn; moshing was not optional.

Wish I'd been off the beers at Mayhem. What they charge for Asahis is ridiculous.
How much are they? Remember they used to only sell Tooheys there and not Old either. Did you ever go to Hell Club there early mid 90s? Haha. Good times.

That was the night of the hawks/cats grand final....
Had a bunch of mates over for a big bbq to watch the GF (mid-morning start), and was absolutely munted at the gig. After the gig, some of said (scouser) mates then wanted to kick-on and watch a liverpool match at stupid o'clock (i think they were playing everton, so was a bit of a big deal), at which point i bid them good evening and stumbled off..

Show was great (as much as i can recall), but their tour a couple of years earlier at the manning bar (nick barker ex-COF on drums) was better. That was an awesome show, apart from the shiner i copped getting a stray accidental doc marten in the face as 200 people (including me) stormed the stage during 'over the wall". Good times haha.
