I love the ambient track on that album. If fact if I'm going back to Burzum I normally go to Hlidskjalf and Daudi Baldrs. Nothing against his early work, they're all classics, but I love his ambient stuff, too.
I really like the ambient stuff on HLTO and F, though do not like H and DB. Pretty sure I got rid of my copy of each album shortly after I got them. I also haven't bothered with the last couple of ambient albums. Weird but it is what it is.

The guitar tone in Burzum's earlier work makes them great.

But Satanic Warmaster have had some stuff I've really enjoyed the sound of in that same way, too.

Big fan of SW. Funny, I don't think he ever did anything original or groundbreaking but what he does he does really well. Has a great ear for melody. Have to get that new comp.

New RAM slipped through to the keeper somehow.

Was going to buy it in Japan but didn't see it. Will grab it from Utopia next time I order. Have you got the new Jag Panzer? That suffered a similar fate.

Any Tribulation fans here? Down Below is a bit of a departure from their melodic black metal that they've played in the past, but it still retains some of those elements. I guess if you're desperate to label it it could be called blackened rock and roll. Whatever it is, its pretty great

Liked the first album, hated the second.....not sure I’ll bother with the third.

Haha. This is the 4th though. It is not bad to be honest, been giving it a few spins. Laid back death/black rock I guess.
