How good are Autopsy? Damn I wish someone would bring them out

taking a wild guess but this would be a dream
Manowar
King Diamond
Possessed...

Buckcherry. It turned out to be ****ing Buckcherry.

yep, actual dog poo, why hype something up so much only to be let down like that, i atleast thought it was going to be possessed and some other band but...

I think the promoter is new, so I haven't got a feel for them yet.

Is that the Thanatos that released the amazing “Emerging from the Netherworlds”?

Yep. Historically interesting, though other than two newly re-recorded songs on cd 1, not much of interest (first demo is from 1984!). Think cd 2 has the 89 demo and 91 promo tapes which came before and after the aforementioned album.

I'm waiting it out to pick what victory tunes to put on.

Perhaps run with the prototype RAC type song that Matt Sinner wrote back in 1986. Once you mishear the chorus and subsequent verse backing vocals as 'heil', there's no turning back. Gets me every time.

Fortress - Into Glory is what is playing through my head.

What's glorious is the tears from the inner city socialists completely out of touch with the rest of the country because they live in their own echo chambers.

Shifty Shorten’s last few days in Federal politics. I’m slipping on King Diamond’s “Songs for the Dead” - seems appropriate. Ha, ha. Bye Billy. Back to your extortion rackets at the AWU. Criminal. Sodom “Get What You Deserve” to follow KD.

Here's a good Shorten story. A couple of years into my job and my firm was involved in a matter which involved the union. Just to lay it out - my firm didn't have anything to do with the company (which was financially ****ed) save it was asked to do some work after the company got into some financial strife. Shorten came to our office and had a meeting. Demanded, inter alia, that the firm pay for all of the outstanding superannuation due to union members employed by the company. True story. What a ******* clown. Go drown your sorrows at the John Curtain you ******* champagne socialist clown.

Not to get too political in the metal thread (one could argue the two go together these days), but this has been the most spiteful and divisive election that I can remember and it largely came from the left. Only one side was trying to create class warfare and it's telling when the outer suburbs aka struggle town have wholesale switched teams.

How about the $300k he took in ‘disguised payments’ and fraudulent invoices from Theiss in the early 2000’s? The list is endless.

I went to his AWU farewell celebration at The RACV Club when he left the union movement. Was on the toilet when Shifty and a couple of other cronies came in, presuming they were ‘alone’. Should have heard the filth coming out of his mouth. God I wish I’d recorded it. Flog of the highest order. I remember him shaking my wife’s hand and the look on her face after. Made her skin crawl. Hilarious.

Yes, we best stick to metal. It unites us.

How do you keep track of these bands? I’ve not given Thanatos a thought in 15 years.
