They were fun, lot of dead spots in the set, turns out you can get a bit over listening to Slash.

Pretty hard to get into a show like that after seeing Gojira a few nights before really, very different atmospheres.

They're kinda a bit unhinged lol.

Gave the full album a good listen on the drive to/from Ocean Grove yesterday. I've got to say though after the god awful first single dropped I thought this was going to be a stinker. Turns out its the opposite. Really enjoyable.
 
Ok for what it's worth here's my thoughts. Overall, I have found the year to be reasonably solid. What I would say is that for me the year misses those 1-2 releases that elevate themselves into the absolute standout category: forever living in reverence deep inside the Hall of the Mountain King.
