I've been enjoying Sanguisugabogg as a new Death Metal band. Hardly the most lyrically intelligent or technically proficient, just big stupid fun and a great live act.

I film bands that I'm interested in. I listen to a lot of contemporary Aussie bands. Doom metal is home base but listen to everything classic rock to grindcore. Spinning the new Flitcraft album tonight, it may be their best album thus far.

These are among the best bands I've seen on the live front over the past five years.
