I've just dropped the club a quick line to let them know the outcome. I am sure Blacky will be putting the Brownlow, B&Fs, premiership medals etc into storage so that this award take pride of place on his mantlepiece.

In the end a good outcome for Black, Rocky, Redden and Leuenberger to run pretty close and Simon Black fully deserved the win.

Will probly do what that actor - whoever - did with his oscar - on a shelf in the dunny. Making the point that it has no place with the "öfficial" recognition, whilst ensuring that everyone that comes to his house sees it.
